Maison Altara

Cantilevered over a forested alpine valley with direct Matterhorn views, Maison Altara redefines the mountain retreat. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls dissolve into the landscape, while natural stone and reclaimed timber anchor the interiors in alpine tradition. At twilight, the residence glows like a lantern in the forest.

The chalet spans three levels connected by a sculptural floating staircase. The lower level houses a wellness suite with indoor pool, hammam, and treatment room. The main level features an open-plan living area with a double-sided fireplace, formal dining for 14, and a professional kitchen. A dedicated ski room with boot warmers and direct trail access completes the alpine experience.
